What this service is

Tailgate Financial Assistant is a web and mobile companion for contractor finance and project activity. You sign in with an account; data you enter or upload is stored and processed to provide the service.

Information we may collect

• Account and contact data — for example name, email, phone, organization details, and credentials you use to sign in.
• Business and project data — information you choose to enter in the app (customers, projects, estimates, billing, photos, documents, etc.).
• Uploaded files and images — such as receipts, job photos, or PDFs you attach to records.
• Technical data — basic server and security logs (for example IP address, timestamps, errors) needed to operate and protect the service.
• Voice features (if you use them) — when you use voice input, audio or transcribed text may be sent to Apple’s speech services and/or to our servers for processing, depending on how the feature is implemented in your deployment.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in Google Cloud, w/in the northamerica-northeast zone.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use subprocessors (such as email delivery, hosting, or AI providers) strictly to operate the service. Specific Google email services, and Gemini for photo analysis,  if photos are uploaded.

Retention and deletion

We keep all date while using the service. All data is removed when stop using this service, or email sent requesting to remove data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including transport encryption (HTTPS) for connections between clients and the service when configured accordingly.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not use the product for child-directed data unless you comply with applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date below will change when we do.
